03 / Get paid
Covered revenue splits between the creator and participating backers. The investor pool splits again, and your allocation comes to you. How it splits, and for how long, is set by each contract. Payments follow actual earnings and are never guaranteed.
Why back a creator?
Backing gives creators the capital to make more of their best work, which means more great content on the internet. You share in what it earns without having to make it yourself.
What you would be backing
Creators offer different options, and each one is a separate contract. What it covers, how revenue is shared, and for how long are set in that contract, so always check the specific one you are backing.
A creator's existing catalog
Funding for a specific new series
Past and future videos
Sponsorships and more, if specified
Shares actual earnings
Comes with the creator's open books
Is recorded as a digital asset you hold

Investor questions
The short version: it all comes down to the contract.
No. You would hold a right to revenue defined by one specific contract, not equity in the creator or their channel. What that right covers depends entirely on the contract you back.
From the actual earnings the contract covers. That might be ad and Premium revenue, and it can include sponsorships or other income when the contract says so. Returns follow real performance, not a fixed promise.
Either, or both. Some contracts cover a creator's existing catalog, some fund a specific new series and share its revenue, and some cover future uploads. Each contract spells out exactly which.
Creators on Backr are required to open their books. Earnings behind each contract are shared transparently, so backers can see what the covered work actually made.
Each backing is represented by a digital asset that identifies your right to that specific contract.
